1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Naijolt (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Naijolt is a solar system sizing and pricing platform designed for Nigerian homeowners and businesses. The Service provides:

• A free solar calculator for daily energy load calculations based on user-provided appliance data
• Solar system component sizing (inverters, batteries, panels) based on location-specific solar irradiance
• Indicative price range estimates for solar equipment in Nigerian naira
• Premium reports with detailed bill of materials, 5-year cost analysis, ROI calculations, and installer guidance (paid feature)
• Corporate-tier reports with multiple load profiles, generator comparison, and CAPEX modelling (paid feature)
• A vendor directory connecting buyers with verified solar vendors by state
• Lead matching to connect buyers with relevant vendors
• A contact form for general inquiries, feedback, and support

Important: Naijolt is a calculator and directory tool, not a solar vendor, installer, or professional service provider. We do not sell equipment, provide installation services, or guarantee system performance.

3. Payments & Refunds

Certain features of the Service require payment, including premium reports and vendor listings. All payments are processed through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

• Premium Reports: One-time payments that unlock detailed solar system analysis tied to your specific calculator inputs. Each payment reference is locked to the calculation data at the time of purchase.
• Vendor Listings: A one-time listing fee for vendors to appear in our directory.
• Featured Placements: Time-based payments for vendors to appear as featured in their state, with durations of 1, 3, or 6 months.

All prices are displayed in Nigerian naira. Payments are non-refundable once the premium report has been generated and delivered, or once a vendor listing has been activated. If you experience a technical issue preventing delivery of a paid service, contact us at legal@naijolt.com for resolution.

4. Vendor Terms

Vendors who register on the Naijolt platform agree to the following:

• All information provided during registration must be accurate and current
• Naijolt does not guarantee leads, sales, or any specific business outcome from being listed on the platform
• Featured placements are limited to a maximum of 2 vendors per state and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
• Naijolt reserves the right to deactivate vendor listings that contain false information or receive verified complaints from buyers
• Vendor listings are not endorsements—Naijolt does not verify the quality of vendor services or equipment

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the calculator and submitting forms
• Verify all calculations and recommendations with qualified professionals before making purchase decisions
• Not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass others
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Not reuse or share payment references intended for single use
• Understand that the Service provides estimates, not binding quotes or guarantees

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results or recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs
• Any defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your requirements
• Vendor listings are accurate, up-to-date, or represent endorsements

Solar system sizing is complex. Actual system performance depends on installation quality, equipment brands, weather patterns, maintenance, and other factors beyond our control. Always consult licensed electricians and solar installers.

7. Limitation of Liability

This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:

• Financial losses from purchasing undersized or oversized solar systems
• Vendor pricing discrepancies compared to Naijolt's estimates
• System performance issues or equipment failures
• Reliance on the Service's calculations without professional verification
• Disputes between buyers and vendors listed on the platform
• Loss of data or inability to access premium reports

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
